What next?

It has been a very long while since I posted.  The first reason was because of my knee surgery in June.  I was recovering nicely from that and was looking forward to getting back to walking and all.
Well, if it couldn't get worse, I don't know what will.  We have been remodeling the house and are putting in new windows and siding.  My son and I were installing a window on Friday morning and I fell off the ladder and broke my right ankle.  So now it looks like I will need surgery to repair the break.  This means another 3 months out of work.  And God knows how long before I can get back to walking and working out.  I need something good to happen soon!

  2. Oh no!!! I hope your next surgery goes well. Did the first one fix the knee?? I hope so :)Are you still doing MF? If you are then at least you can still do that without the exercise!? (Trying to be positive here!!). I got some food on ebay when i was doing it for way cheaper trying to keep costs down. That stinks you will be out of work :(

Me...well, I am down about 65ish lbs and seem to be at a plateau for the last 2 plus months. But I am hanging in there and just signed up for my first 5k next weekend. I am nervous and excited.

Hang in there. It will get better.

  3. I know you are very frustrated. But try to make good food choices, even if you can't exercise much. Maybe you can work your upper body? Maybe soon you can slowly ride a stationery bike? Please don't let what you have already lost creep back on.
